URGENT FYI:   TIME SENSITIVE BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FAMILY & FRIENDS

I joined SQIP in mid-April (last month) through with my brother-in-law, Tim Galvin, and received my 100 free PEP shares worth .38 Euro at the time. The value jumped to .40 Euro the very next day. Seeing huge potential with this company (plus very little risk involved), I added to my free 100 shares and bought 1,250 more shares. In so doing, I received a bonus amount of 625 PEP's, when the value increased to .40 Euros per share. I now own 1,992 PEP shares. My initial investment was $ZERO$… my additional (voluntary) investment was $676.06 USD (500 Euros). My 1,992 PEP shares today are valued at .58 Euros… now valued at $1,559.34 USD… A one month profit value of $883.28…NET! That's a 230% increase in one month. These shares have increased steadily every week since inception last November when the IPO was at .10 Euro. It has never lost value.

Let me be perfectly clear…you do not have to buy any additional shares. I did so because this opportunity is 'ground floor'.

I am so intrigued by this concept that I just feel the need to pass on this valuable information. Therefore, I am directing this urgent information to you, and others:

#1.  Many of you have already joined a company called SQIP!  If you HAVE already joined, I want to make you aware of something very important. Especially if you are recruiting others, please let them know ASAP.

#2.  If you have not yet joined but perhaps have looked at this company and for whatever reason have procrastinated in joining, this message is also for you.

#3.  If you have not yet heard of SQIP, and are looking for a great deal, a rare financial opportunity, a company to be aligned with… this free money give-a-way is for you as well.

I  am contacting you all to let you know, the 100 free company shares program called PEP's, which means Private Equity Points, (the give-a-way incentive for joining the program), you should know is over in a few days… May 24th, 2009. SQIP is alive and well!  SQIP is growing Rapidly!  SQIP is AMAZING!  However….as of this post, (May 22nd) there's only a 2 days left before the free PEP's program is gone. It is ending!  PEP's are almost all gone!  Do you understand, this a free give-a-way!!!!  The share program is SQIP's way of advertising.

We received an announcement from the company this morning, you only have a very few days left before all free shares (PEP's) are gone. No more shares of ownership in the company will be available! Joining the company will remain free, and you will still have access to all the generated income streams, but there will be no more shares given away. Also our Booster program which is optional will no longer have the PEP's (shares) in that program either. If you are interested in joining our worldwide ad campaign coup to increase your downline with referrals from the company and receive PEP's, you need to join now, today… ASAP.  If you are at all interested in this, I urge to quickly sign up immediately for these free 100 shares in our company before they are all gone! I am not kidding you.  The company just told us this news a few hours ago! Go Here Now and Sign Up Free!

Still not interested? ….Did I mention this is free people? SQIP has the potential to become the next Google, or Yahoo (…or perhaps get bought out by one of them). Opportunities such as this are few and far between, so don't miss out. SQIP is trying to GIVE you 100 free shares (PEP's) just for registering with the company!!! These shares will be worth 10 Euros coming up soon! 100 X 10 = 1000 Euros if you hold them until buy back (approx. 2 yrs).

I cannot believe how hard it is to give away money! Even when there is literally nothing to lose in joining SQIP. The free shares is just their way of advertising and launching a new company, and getting the word out quickly. It is working because thousands of people have taken full advantage of it! I urge everyone to join SQIP now and get your 100 free shares before they are all gone in a couple of days, go here now and register:

I LIKE IKE…NOT!

Hurricane Ike paid us a visit on Sunday 09/14/08, his 75 MPH winds wreaking havoc over all 88 counties of Ohio. Ike was especially unkind to our beloved hackberry tree, a tree that stood strong for more than 80 years, and was the tallest most healthy tree around. When the winds came, all the other trees were bending and swaying to their breaking point… and beyond, yet our old hackberry barely swayed at all. It never snapped, but the wind proved more powerful than mother earth's grip on that tree.

The entire tree, root-ball and all, broke free from its earthen anchor, and was left sprawled over Mom's house next door. Not a branch, or root was broken. The root ball being about 15 feet in diameter, left a crater more than 4 feet deep… even dragging the attached 8 inch thick swath of turf with it. The root ball, weighing approximately 10 tons, must have acted as a counter-balance to the tall giant's canopy… gently laying it down atop her house… incredibly, doing no serious damage to the house, or itself. The incident was both awesome, and eerie.

Staying intact as the tree had, Paul Bunyon could have stood her back up, tamped down the soil, and watered the root-ball… and she could been back on her feet standing tall today. Unfortunately, Paul Bunyon exists only in storybook form, so he could not rescue our tree. Now resting in pieces, the old hackberry will be cremated, bit by bit over the next several years,  and her ashes scattered across the yard she once towered above.

Although our two remaining ash trees stayed grounded following the wind storm (a 24 inch-er, and an 18 inch-er), we decided to remove the 18 inch ash, in anticipation of certain eventual doom to be brought on by the emerald ash borer. A mere 18 inches in diameter (the width of a typical 35 year old tree), that tree was as tall as the hackberry. As it turned out it was about as old. It must have struggled over much of its 80+ year lifespan, stretching to reach sunlight, competing in the shadow of much larger trees that must have preceded it. Its rings were very tightly grained, indicative of very slow growth. At the juncture where its trunk forked into two secondary branches there was carpenter ant damage that injured the tree, which would have eventually split apart in the near future. Each of its branches weighed about 3,500 lbs, and would have been a disaster waiting to happen. We made the right call in removing that tree now.

We have one giant ash tree remaining in the far corner of the yard… and we could not bear to get rid of it just yet, seeming much less a threat situated far from the houses.

…The good news? Nobody was hurt in this ordeal, and the kids had a ball playing on it and under it until we took it down. Though some areas of Columbus remained without power through the entire week, our electric service was restored after three days.

Our annual block party was a fun time for the kids of all ages who attended. Katie, Justin, Mason, Sydney, Erica, Demo and Alex joined in on the fun, and we had a blast. We all got "Tats", tossed water ballons, played corn hole and hillbilly golf. We had a great day for a summer send-off.

Fun pix from John and Kelly

Family Events 2008

These are just some fun pix Kelly and John sent with this NOTE FROM KELLY:

Hey Grandma and Papa,

Here's Gracie at school on Friday.  So cute, none of them talked to each other.  They were all confused. I will send the video off this and her b-day.

Thanks for the card and check.  They both enjoyed opening of the card.  Christian was surprised about the check.  Once he found out that it was something that you can use to buy toys with he wanted one.  Gracie is awesome, I told her she could get what ever toy she wanted.  She loves the cabbage patch commercial, she screams every time it comes on. She found a mimi cabbage patch and loved it. She did not want anything else.  I told her she could have two and she did not want anything of it.  Then we found a couple of animals and she wanted those also.  She had a blast picking her toys out and Christian liked spending the extra cash on his hot wheel.  Thanks again.

Love you,
Kelly

Gracie Turns 3

Grace Kelly Sochor has passed through the "terrible twos" with flying colors (mostly pink), and is officially 3 years old! We hated not being able to be with her to celebrate the occasion, but at least with iChat™ teleconferencing we were able to see her… sort of.

Jessica Zak’s Wedding

Jessica Zak (Ron and Margie's baby girl) was married on August 9, 2008 to a great young man named Dan Davis. The wedding ceremony at St. Ambrose Catholic Church was beautiful, and the reception afterward was fabulous. Great food with great family and friends made for a fun time for all. Congratulations and a toast to the health and happiness of the new Mr. & Mrs. Dan Davis.

Ohio State Fair 2008

Demo and Alex always enjoy the Ohio State Fair, and neither has ever missed one in his lifetime, and this was Demo's 8th, and Alex's 4th consecutive year attending. The animals are the best part…from butterflies to bulls… they loved them all. Of course, the ice cream cones at the dairy building is always fun, too.

How and the heck does Smokey Bear remember their names every single year?

Jessica and Andy…Now Mr. & Mrs. Herf

Family Events 2008

Show album, 29 Total pictures, Now showing 3

On Saturday, July 12, 2008 Jessica Galvin and Andy Herf were wed at Our Lady of Victory Church. A beautiful nuptials ceremony and mass was celebrated by Fr. Romano Ciotola , and a reception followed immediately thereafter at the new social hall built by her dad Tim Galvin.

The hall was beautifully decorated by Cam James ( Mills-James Productions), and the wedding singer/emcee was Michael Sutherland… a very entertaining, cigarette smoking, Crown Royal drinking, crowd pleasing Frank Sinatra type lounge singer performing flawlessly for a partying crowd of dancing fools.

The meal was outstanding, and the wine…well you know Tim and Tess…lets just say the wine was fabulous. What a great time! It was so much fun…we lost track of the time, and partied until past 1:00 AM. Hardly anyone left early, and some of us brought the reception back to Tess & Tim's house…until about 3:30 AM. Not yet satisfied,  we all arose at 6:00 AM for breakfast at their house.

Thanks Tess & Tim for a great weekend of celebration.

And, Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Herf.

Par… FORE!

dsc01678The Filling Station (home of Monday wing night) golf outing was a bust for some…For others their wood shots left much to be desired.

Jack, Craig, Phil, and Mick thought the outing was somewhat of  drag, but they made it through the course, no worse from the wear. The four golfed well when their serious handicaps were factored in to their scores.

No eagles, or birdies were injured during the shooting of this picture.
